This bulletin presents the results of a partial replication of a French study that investigated the pain management experiences of clinicians treating patients with Buprenorphine Maintenance Treatment (BMT) for opioid addiction.Overall it appears that for Australian patients, acute or chronic pain, is not a common occurrence.
