Adelaide City Council has a unique perspective on homelessness in South Australia. "[C]ompared to the rest of the State, the City of Adelaide is the home or `meeting place' for a relatively large and quite distinctive population of vulnerable adults." These people often seek support from agencies and anonymity amongst a large and diverse population in busy and crowded environments. This report paints a picture of homelessness in the inner city and describes how Council policy is working to address the problems involved.
