Graduate Teachers in Rural and Remote SA Schools - "A Year of Firsts"

This report explores the experiences of recent teaching graduates in rural and remote schools in South Australia, and identifies factors which facilitate or impede their transition and retention in rural areas. Data in the report were drawn from a study conducted with teacher graduates employed in rural Catholic Education and DETE schools in 2000 and 2001.
