This report provides an overview of the profiles and characteristics of individuals referred to Court Assessment and Referral Drug Scheme (CARDS)in the first year of the pilot. The report is divided into five sections. The first section provides information on those individuals referred to the CARD scheme. The second describes thoese who were assessed as to their suitablity for CARDS treatment. The third describes those individuals who were recommended for CARDS as compared to those who were not. The fourth describes the characteristics of those individuals who were not accepted oto the scheme by the Magistrate. The final section describes the progess ande completeion rate of individuals accepted onto the scheme.
