Collaboration is the Key is the report of the State Recovery Committee. It examines the recovery effort of the South Australian Government and public sector agencies in the Lower Eyre Peninsula bushfire in January 2005. Sue Vardon, Chief Executive, Department for Families and Communities (DFC), is the State Recovery Coordinator and Chair of the State Recovery Committee. This report documents not just the success stories of the Lower Eyre Peninsula bushfire recovery operation but the areas where we can do better. The Office of Recovery in DFC is overseeing across government implementation of the Report's findings and recovery planning for the future.
