Project inputs included the project team of a public health project officer and several communitybased workers. They were supported by a resource team of health professionals. The evaluation team included a fieldworker (a Masters of Public Health student) and academic research support provided through the Centre for Remote Health. The Laramba community supported the project through numerous complementary community-based programs, including the Community Development Employment Program (CDEP). THS provided additional logistic support.
The National Heart Foundation funded both the project and the evaluation.
