My vision is for Adelaide to be known as a Green City, with a world-wide reputation for its efficient use of natural resources and protection of open spaces and parklands.
Key findings from a review of international, national and State-based greening programs undertaken by various Government have informed the development of South Australia's Greening of Government Operations (GOGO) Framework.
This policy framework is one of the key opportunities for the Government to 'walk the talk', in terms of commitments to sustainability being achieved through changes in its own practices that minimize environmental impact.
