This Strategic Research Agenda aims to stimulate new, high quality research which directly supports A Better Life for South Australians - the DFC Five Year Strategic Plan, 2009-2013. The Agenda summarises key areas and concerns across the span of the Department for Families and Communities (DFC) business where new and robust research knowledge is needed.
The Agenda is structured according to the five core responsibilities of DFC - Housing, Disability, Families, Ageing and Communities and Partners. As well as the topics and issues where research is needed, each section of the Agenda contains a brief summary of the current policy context; references major policy documents (with web links where possible); and identifies priority target groups for research consideration.
