Mission Australia's annual survey of young Australians aims to identify both the values and issues of concern to young people in Australia. This report contains an executive summary as well as summaries at the national level and for South Australia. Each chapter contains a breakdown of the key data by age and gender.
Results show that young people in South Australia:
highly value family relationships and friendships and being independent
are concerned about drugs, alcohol and body image
turn to friends, parents and a relative/family friend for advice and support when they have a personal problem
most admire family, friends and sports teams, players and coaches.
