The study, commissioned by DETYA, was concerned to assess and report on three principal objectives, specifically: the nature and extent of unmet demand for Information Technology and Telecommunications (IT&T) courses offered by Australian tertiary education institutions and scope for expansion of enrolments;the means by which tertiary education institutions identify areas of emerging demand for skills such as those required in the IT&T sector; the extent to which tertiary education institutions work with industry to meet industry skill needs.
