The Adelaide University Union and Student Representative Council (SRC) are urging the federal government to include urgent and long-awaited reforms to student income support, specifically to:
* align the threshold for Parental Income Test with the value used by Family Tax Benefit;
* reduce the Age of Independence to qualify for Austudy from 25 to 21;
* increase the Personal Income Threshold to $400 per fortnight; and
* Expand eligibility for benefits to students enrolled in all masters by coursework programs.
