Social Development Framework

The City of NPSP commissioned the Australian Institute for Social Research (AISR), at
the University of Adelaide to undertake the research and preparatory work for the
Framework, and worked with them to consult with staff and elected members about its
content. This involved the following steps -

analysis of demographic and broad social trends affecting the NPSP
community2,

interviews with key stakeholders,

a workshop with key NPSP staff,

a workshop with Elected Members,

regular meetings with a Steering Group comprised of NPSP Managers working
with the AISR team to plan and review each stage of the development of the Framework.
