South Australia's Strategic Plan (SASP) was first released by the Government of South Australia in March 2004. The Plan's targets reflect South Australia's aspirations for where we want to be as a state in 2014 (the timeframe set for most targets). The Government committed to publish every two years a report on progress against the Plan targets, and it established an independent advisory body, the SASP Audit Committee, to prepare this report. This report aims to identify targets where progress is on track, and areas where more effort or new approaches are needed.
