The Strategic Plan (SASP) contains 98 targets `to benchmark or measure our progress over time', and the Government has indicated that these will be assessed and published every two years. However, other than those targets specifically for the Aboriginal population, many do not directly address levels of inequality across the community.

This web site provides an analysis of 29 targets (or supplementary measures) from the revised South Australia's Strategic Plan (January 2007), taking an inequality perspective. The intention in presenting the data in this way is to add another dimension to the information already available in the Plan.
