Community Information Strategies Australia (CISA) is a nonprofit community-based organisation in Adelaide, South Australia responsible for providing information management services to South Australians and interstate customers in both the non-profit and government sectors. Based on earlier research by CISA and information gathered at the UK Circuit Riders conference and related meetings, Doug Jacquier puts forward the case that there is an urgent need for a national strategy to support ICT development in the community sector, involving the sector itself, all levels of government and the corporate sector.
