Discussion paper on the gaming machine trading system and the possible lifting of the gaming machine sales cap

The purpose of this paper is to provide a brief description of the gaming machine trading system in South Australia and to highlight the possible impacts of the government lifting the gaming machine sales cap on EGM sales on both the gaming industry and on promised reductions in gaming machines in this state. This paper has been written to give a general overview of what is currently known to inform and motivate debate.
