This resource builds on and expands the "Statistical Profile of Women in South Australia" that was released by the Premier's Council for Women in 2004. GIO is a tool to support a whole of government approach to gender sensitive policy/program development and evaluation . GIO is a collaborative initiative of the Premier's Council for Women, Office for Women, Department of Premier and Cabinet and the Australian Institute for Social Research.
