The State Government stands to make about $32 million when it sells two South Australian Police buildings in the city later this month, possibly to a foreign buyer.

The two connected buildings house various SA Police operations, including the state's forensic laboratory and police morgue.

Savilles Australia Divisional Director Peter Isaksson told InDaily the site was likely to go "in the low $30 millions, $32 to $33 million, in that range".

Isaksson said he'd had plenty of interest in the complex, including from a foreign buyer.

The State Government will remain as tenants in the building after the sale, with $3.5 million a year in rent guaranteed for the next 10 years.
