The South Australian Strategic plan outlines an ambitious target for 50% of all executive and board positions to be held by women by the year 2014. However, recent research indicates that the participation of senior women in key leadership positions is declining over time rather than increasing.

This highly interactive forum will ask IPAA members for their comment and contribution to this dilemma. Presented by Danielle Jiranek, National Director Organization Development, Locher Human Resources and Niki Vincent, Chief Executive Leadership Institute of South Australia this forum will

* Provide attendees with an overview of an High Impact Leadership Program targeted at senior women within the Public Sector (the program will commence in March 2008)
* Seek feedback regarding the needs of senior women within the public sector with respect to leadership and career development
* Commence an open discourse around the perceived opportunities and barriers to senior women in the SA Public Sector

This is an important session not to be missed.
