The first talk in the University of Adelaide's new Research Tuesdays seminar series will be held on Tuesday, 10 April.

Professor Graeme Hugo, a Federation Fellow in the School of Social Sciences, provides insights into what Australian population change means for business and the shifts in population which will have the greatest impact.

Title: What does population change mean for business?

Synopsis: In developing business strategy population size, composition and distribution is regarded as a static background. Yet the Australian population is changing in a myriad of ways, all of which have implications for the evolving demand for goods and services. Identifying, and especially anticipating, change in population can prove invaluable to businesses seeking to gain and maintain a competitive edge.
