Deborah Phillips is Chair of and Professor in the Department of Psychology. She is an expert in child care policy issues and also is available to speak with reporters about children and stress and how children cope after violence/tragedies. Her research centers on developmental and child psychology, child development and public policy, the effects of family and child care environments on child development, the developmental effects of poverty, and children with disabilities.
