The Hawke Research Institute and the Australian Education Union (AEU) presents: The Jean Blackburn Memorial Lecture: Gender Equity and Education.

Assoc Prof Judy Gill will launch the Inaugural Jean Blackburn Memorial Lecture. Prof Alison Mackinnon will present research findings on `Girls on the Margins'.

The project investigates the educational, labour market, biographical and social experiences of young women, and their interactions with teachers and youth service providers. Chaired by Dr Tahnya Donaghy, AEU Women's Officer.
