This three-day workshop will assist you to work more effectively to improve Aboriginal health. It will benefit practitioners, service providers and policy makers across both health and non-health settings.

Experienced Flinders University Aboriginal health educators will use interactive sessions to explore how the social determinants of Indigenous health actually play out in real lives, and in particular kinds of health outcomes. The workshop will move beyond a narrow focus on cultural awareness to introduce a more-integrated model of culturally-safe work and organisational practice. Aboriginal perspectives, experience and knowledge will be interwoven with best practice strategies developed by a nationally respected team of Aboriginal health academics. This workshop will also equip you with ways to translate learning into practice - and into better health outcomes.
