To undergraduate and postgraduate students, researchers, and those contemplating a research career, we are pleased to invite you to attend an interactive session with Baroness Susan Greenfield.

This is a rare opportunity to listen to and pose questions to Baroness Greenfield regarding the landscape of 21st Century research. A pioneering scientist, an entrepreneur, a communicator of science and a policy advisor, Baroness Greenfield has achieved a reputation as one of the most influential and inspirational women in the world.

In this session, Baroness Greenfield will outline the landscape of 21st century research and some navigational tools. She will discuss the new topics of 21st century research, the opportunities, the obstacles, and alternatives to a research career.

Baroness Greenfield is widely known for her research into Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases and has received a life peerage and a CBE in the United Kingdom. She was Director of the Royal Institution of Great Britain until January 2010 and is currently Director of the Institute for the Future of the Mind at the Oxford Martin School and Professor of Synaptic Pharmacology at the University of Oxford.
