Data linkage enables researchers to look at large volumes of data from various sources and paves the way for a broader range of questions to be answered than was otherwise possible. Through linkage it becomes possible to examine underlying relationships between various aspects of society or service delivery, thus improving our knowledge and understanding about a particular subject.
The speakers will present various examples of data linkage used in the past, currently being used and future opportunities. The aim will be to demonstrate the benefits of data linkage within and between sectors (eg: health, education, and much more) and also demonstrate policy, practice and research activity in action on key priorities for South Australia.
