This seminar presents an opportunity to discuss two approaches to resilience:

  1. Smoking, Depression and Resilience: Quitting and the Process of Biographical Reinvention - Professor Paul Ward, Head, Discipline of Public Health

  2. What does a "process of getting by" approach to resilience mean for farmers in times of drought? - Associate Professor Colin MacDougall, Discipline of Public Health & Executive member, Southgate Institute for Health, Society and Equity

The seminar will be Chaired by Professor Fran Baum, ARC Federation Fellow, Director Southgate Institute for Health, Society and Equity and South Australian Community Health Research Unit (SACHRU)
