The Centre for Automotive Research (CASR) at the University of Adelaide has been involved in road safety research for over 30 years and has earned an international reputation.
In the seminar Professor Mary Lydon, the Director of CASR, will present an overview of current and planned road safety research at CASR including research into safer roads, safer vehicles, safer road users and safer speeds. She will also provide an overview of current directions in road safety research both in Australia and overseas and identify the types of countermeasures likely to have major impacts on road safety in the future.
