Healthy Cities Onkaparinga is the 2nd Meeting of the Australian Chapter of the Alliance for Healthy Cities. The event is sponsored by the City of Onkaparinga and the City of Marion.
The aim of the meeting is to:
to encourage and facilitate cooperation and networking,
to share learning and experiences,
to develop and strengthen the Chapter, particularly in the area of community participation.
The theme of this Chapter meeting is 'Communities in Partnership for a Healthy and Sustainable Future'. This theme incorporates priority areas for action and reflects current concerns about equity in health and environmental sustainability both locally and globally.
