Flinders University in conjunction with SA Health (Government of South Australia) are holding a series of seminars. The aim of the Community Capacity Building Seminar Series 2009 is to provide participants with opportunities to explore the practical application of key concepts, research evidence and examples of good practice in community capacity building to their own setting.
Three seminars include:
Seminar one - Community Capacity Building: Promoting Wellbeing (28 October 2009 and 3 November 2009)
Seminar two - Community Capacity Building: Redressing Inequities and Exclusion (18 November 2009 and 17 November 2009)
Seminar three - Community Capacity Building: How Can It Be Evaluated? (8 December 2009 and 9 December 2009)
Each Seminar will be run twice:- once at the North venue (Salisbury Library), and once at the South venue (City of Onkaparinga, Civic Reception Area).
