The School of Medicine, Discipline of Public Health at Flinders University is offering a 5 day short course that aims to facilitate learning that will support participants in reorienting their health setting towards making health promotion part of their core business.
Participants will learn about:
integrated approaches to health promotion
different frameworks for conceptualising a settings approach to health promotion
ways in which health services can be reoriented to become more health promoting and
the different approaches to the changes needed to achieve reorientation.
An exciting component of the 2009 program is a one day interactive, invitation-only workshop, Progressing Health Promotion, included in the cost of course registration.
